Watch the Film DreamMakers to Get A Glimpse of #Racism, Love and Hope

If you want to get a glimpse into what racism, love and hope, feels like, upfront and personal, I invite you to view, "DreamMakers", a film directed by Dove Suau, a brillant Puerto Rican director. This film takes you on the journey of three families: a Black Family that navigated through over 6 decades of racism and discrimination, (my family and I), a Mexican American man from California, who served 10 years of a life sentence for a crime he did not commit, and two Puerto Rican communities, the South Bronx and Chicago, who reclaimed their dignity and identity by transforming themselves from the inside out. BTW, Mario Rocha, was exonerated and freed from prison and is living his dream.
#racism

With Appreciation,
