Go Behind The Curtain - BlogRadio Talk Show Interview


On March 27, I was interviewed by Kathy Barrett, founder and host of Behind The Curtain. As I started to explain the purpose of the show in this post, I realized that no one can say it better than Kathy herself. She describes her show in this way:

Every Tuesday at noon EST, Kathy interviews people who are willing to have a candid conversation about how they faced their obstacles and discovered their true self on their journey to make a difference in the world. Kathy knows how to facilitate an authentic conversation. Her caring personality is palpable and she has the courage to ask direct, honest questions - which created a mood that enabled me to bear my soul.

Obstacles are merely a point of view.

Obstacles are a part of life. They can drain us of our energy or ignite our imagination. When we view obstacles as challenges we can see the opportunities to tap into the creative genius that lies in all of us.  We have been conditioned to avoid risk, to be safe - to control our lives. Yet we all know that we can’t predict nor prevent obstacles from falling in our path. Because of our point of view, obstacles often throw us into a state of fear – this is no way to live. Look at our institutions, organizations, laws and norms – most are built on negative assumptions.
